Search Engines

The relationships we have developed with the search engines are key to the success of your search marketing campaign.

DBD Media deals with the account managers and vertical market specialists at the top search engines in the UK and abroad on a daily basis, and is able to call on their expertise for any of our client accounts.

We are also often invited to test new product or feature releases not available to the wider market. This gives us access to the latest search marketing products and features, ensuring that our clients can take advantage of the latest developments in the industry .

As one of DBD Media's clients you will benefit from our relationships with the search engines, as we use our knowledge and contacts to help maximise the returns on your campaigns.

google

Google's AdWords service offers the greatest reach worldwide of all the search engines, allowing you to target customers anywhere in the world. Alternatively we can pinpoint customers in a particular postcode, town or region. The campaigns DBD Media creates for Google are syndicated across a huge range of other websites, including AOL, Ask, Tiscali, Virgin Media and Orange in the UK. All our PPC account management staff are Google AdWords Qualified Professionals.

Yahoo! Search Marketing, formerly Overture, offers great distribution in the UK and internationally, with search results appearing on a range of major search engines and portals including Yahoo!, AltaVista and Lycos. Our team have worked with Yahoo / Overture since late 1999.

Microsoft's Bing replaced MSN Live as paid-search solution in 2009. DBD Media has worked with Microsoft since their beta trials in France in late 2005, and is able to use this experience to deliver really high converting campaigns on the newest of the mainstream search platforms. Our PPC account management team have all passed the Microsoft adExcellence exam.

Facebook is rapidly proving to be one of the most important new online advertising channels. The level of targeting for advertisers far exceeds that of the main search engines, and Facebook is rapidly becoming the "recommendation engine" of choice. Facebook's PPC advertising was launched in early 2008 - and DBD Media were one of the first UK search agencies to trial this new medium. Early trials have been successful, with a steady volume of traffic and conversions delivered from a closely targeted audience.
